The Peregrine u8 is designed to work in conjunction with the Eutelsat OneWeb network, a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network that offers low-latency data transmission. And, with its hybrid cellular capability, it can switch dynamically between satellite and cellular networks, further enhancing its versatility for maritime applications.

Traditional maritime antennas are bulky, requiring high power and below-deck hardware. In contrast, the slim, energy-efficient Peregrine u8 requires no specialized installation equipment and can easily installed onboard within hours, rather than days.

Even when switching between send and receive, or dynamically switching to a new satellite on the move, the power draw remains minimal.
